Gamified Learning Experience
This project showcases the design of a gamified learning experience developed to increase vocabulary acquisition and reading comprehension for English Language Learners. The instructional challenge was to create an engaging, scaffolded module that supported language development while maintaining academic rigor.
Using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and motivation theory, I integrated structured game mechanics, interactive vocabulary mapping, and formative feedback loops to promote active participation and measurable skill growth. The experience was intentionally aligned with learning objectives and assessment criteria to ensure transfer beyond the module.
This case study demonstrates my ability to design learner-centered, theory-driven instruction that balances engagement with strategic alignment and measurable outcomes.
